Namibian teenagers Christine Mboma and Beatrice Masilingi have let the sprinting world know they have arrived. Mboma set a new Africa, National and u20 World Record of 21.81s on her way to win the 200m silver medal in Tokyo tonight. Running against legends of the sport, she held her composure and finished strong to take silver on the line. On her way to the finals she also set new Africa, National and u20 World Records in both the heats and semi-finals. Masilingi also set a new PB of 22.28s coming in a close 6th position.
