We identified a need to tell the story of what really goes on in the hearts and minds of professional athletes – the ups and downs, the happy times and the challenging times.
02 The Idea
A podcast called ‘Behind the Dream’ hosted by our Performance Psychologist Dr Kirsten van Heerden. She will talk to some of the world’s greatest athletes across sporting codes, taking an honest look at topics such as mental health, transition out of sport, what it takes to be the best and what it is really like to be a professional athletes. Stories are powerful, and we want the stories we tell to entertain, educate and empower.

Girls Only Project started a podcast hosted by ambassador and double Olympian Lee-Ann Persse.
