Peninah Mutisya’s performance last night at the Spitszen Leichtathletik Meeting in Luzern, Switzerland, showed she is a young 800m athlete to watch at the World Championships next month.
From the start Mutisya ran from the front, holding on to cross the line in a new meeting record of 1:58.76, also a new PB for the Kenyan.
Another stand out performance on the evening was Clarence Munyai, finishing 3rd in the 200m in a seasons best 20.22s.
