20 year old Clarence Munyai showed that he is the future of South African sprinting when he smashed Wayde van Niekerks national 200m record by 0.15s. Running in the semi-finals at the South African National Championships, Munyai crossed the line in 19.69s. Not only is this time a world lead and only 0.01s off Frank Fredericks African record set 22 years ago, but also, only 10 men have even run faster.
