Thembo Monareng announced his arrival on the world sprinting stage when he narrowly missed out on a podium finish at the u20 World Athletics Championships in Finland yesterday. There was only 0.01s separating 2nd and 4th place and in a photo finish, Monareng ended 4th in an outstanding time of 10.23s.
