World Champion hurdles coach joins Newton Agency

Newton Sports Agency, today announced that World Champion Hurdles coach Hennie Kotze has exclusively signed across all areas of Representation.

Kotze has coached the likes of South African athletes LJ van Zyl and Cornel Fredricks to Commonwealth Games gold medals, as well  as guiding Wenda Nel to becoming African Champion. In 2015 he achieved the seemingly impossible by producing Kenya’s first ever World champion in the 400m hurdles, Nicholas Bett – in just 10 months.

Group MD Lee-Roy Newton said that having a coach of Kotze’s calibre on board was not only a privilege for the Agency, but ‘I feel it is a step forward in the management of African world class podium coaches, and shows Newton Agency’s commitment to spearheading change within the athletics industry’.
