Phehlukwayo to make SA A team debut

Andile Phehlukwayo has been called up to the SA A team to play England in Kimberly at the end of January. CSA selection convenor, Linda Zondi, said that Phehlukwayo’s form in the domestic limited overs competition caught the eye of the selectors and ‘this is his opportunity to show what he can do at the next level’.

Zondo makes history captaining Dolphins

Khaya Zondo will make history by becoming the first black African to captain the Dolphins side when he steps on the field on Thursday against the Cape Cobras. Being entrusted with the captaincy adds to Zondo’s growing list of achievements this season, and the  middle order batsman said of the honour “I am very excited to be handed the responsibility of leading the team; it’s a challenge and I am looking forward to hopefully making a difference”.
